# Re: [IP] amount of insulin to drop sugars

```I have learned from my doctor and diabetes nurse that if my BS is 150 or
above, to lower my blood sugar, I should take 1 unit of insulin to lower
my BS 60. I have used this and works great. However, I guess the best
thing is, is to listen to what your diabetes team tells you what to do,
and if it works, great!
