Re: [IP] carbo counting book to carry with me?

Jan, just wanted to tell u that I just got the same book today from my endo
and think it is great. Now since this is the first day of my "pre-pump
training", I just have to get it right on all the documentation and I'll be
happy. But the lady that does the pre-training said it may take 6 months
before I get the pump! I was extremely disappointed! She said it usually
takes that long to get everything going and that she would talk to my endo
about putting me on it sooner. That is why I am so anxious to record the
correct info down in a short period of time. I never thought it would take
that long at all! But she was supposed to show me how to go about figuring
everything and at this point I am sure on part of it but not sure how to put
it all down correctly. I thought she should have had written instructions
to give any new pump patients. She didn't though so now I am going by what
I have copied and printed off the website which includes several emails that
were sent to new users by other experienced pump users. Anyway, hope you
enjoy your book as much as I will enjoy using it!
