Re: [IP] amazing story about er doctor

I had a similar experience in Australia, my doctor told me if i wasn't
able to keep the fluids down in the next four hours i should report to
the er so they could put in an iv trip. So knowing me 3 hours and 50
minutes later i decided to be sick - so off i went. After being in
there for 4 hours on an iv they offered me some food and said if i
could keep this down i could go home. This worked and i was about to
leave and i asked the registrar what i should do over the next couple
of hours with my insulin and food etc. and her comment was you have
been diagnosed for so long do what you usually do and walked off
(needless to say that this was the first time in 15 years that i had
been sick like this and did not know what to do).
Makes you wonder doesn't it !!!!
