Bethany, yes, you do need a script for humalog, but the old insulin's like
plain old REG. can be bought over the counter.  Before humalog all forms of
insulin were considered non-abusable drugs so no script was needed.

In my state, GA, because of the life or death need for syringes by
diabetics..you can buy them over the counter also.

As far as using insulin for euthanasia,  no, severe hypoglycemia  causes
convolutions...the thrashing about, tearing muscles and biting your tongue
in half type of thing. It would not be a dignified death-James
