Re: [IP] insulin in cartridge



I use a MM pump so I don't have a cartridge to take out of my pump that I
can use.  I was talking about prefilled disposable pens, not the silver
Novolin pens that take a cartridge.  I had been using a Lilly N  & H
prefilled pen prior to being on the pump (holds 300 units) and I did find
that it became less effective after a few weeks (the N insulin - I was using
14 units a day of N) so I did switch to the silver Novolin Pen that took
cartridges (150 units) - much less waste.  It is pretty cool that you can
take your cartridge out of your pump and use it - that is awesome!
