[IP] insulin in cartridge

Someone wondered about taking insulin out of the cartridge if they needed it
when gone from home so they wouldn't have to carry a full vial of insulin
around everywhere. If you feel better always knowing that you have an
insulin vial along "just in case" just carry a vial that has been "mostly"
used up in filling cartridges. Then you will always have insulin available,
but won't waste a full vial of insulin if it gets too hot, cold, or stays
out of the fridge too long without being used. You can carry these "mostly
used" vials with you at all times and just replace them as needed with
another "mostly used" cartridge.
