Re: [IP] endos and saline



An endocrinologist is a doctor that specializes in the endocrine system,
including the care of people with Diabetes.  I am surprised to hear that you
have been Diabetic for 29 years and haven't seen one!  Who do you see?
Obviously you are getting care since you recently started on the pump.
Saline refers to this:  When some peole start on the pump, they initially
pump saline, instead of insulin, to get used to the pump workings, etc.
This is common in children.  Hope this helps to clear things up some.
