Don't be ticked off - is this the fisrt diabetes "official" rejection
you've had?  I've been refused jobs, etc., but here in Maryland,
you can't donmate blood if you're a diabetic - no matter how good your
control is!  I've tried several times - consider the fact that whoever
you're giving blood to, won't need to have their blood sugar checked after
they've been given your blood!  It's alright - whoever it is, has enought o
deal with, other than BS problems!
Let it go - besides which, you're NOT going to change the medical community
