[IP] fats and insulin resistence

It is USUALLY the amount of fat in your body that will contribute to insulin
resistence. (YMMV). You are correct that you don't need to cover the fats
with a bolus. Peanut butter may have a lot of fat, but it is also a source of
protein, and some peanut butters have a sugar added to them, unless you are
eating a low fat variety. All peanut butters are not alike. Read the label
for the ingredients and additives. Are you eating the peanut butter all by
itself or do you put it on something? Maybe your bolus ratio is too low?
