Hi Kathie -

Before going on the pump, I was on shots for years and always measured my
food by exchanges.
I think measuring/counting carbs is  much more accurate, but now when I eat
out, I have to go by
exchanges, because how do you know how many carbs are in your food?
Somebody eelse might have
a better idea; I'm new to pumping, but have been counting exchanges for 35
years.  I can tell you that
it WORKS!  Maybe give that a try?!  Jane
