I have been using the FastTake as a backup meter ever since
it was released for sale in the US.  

As long as you use a sufficient (rounded) drop of blood it
is very reliable.  It uses less blood than the One-Touch
series, but you can't be stingy and just smear a little
tiny bit on the testing spot.
