Amy, if you don't like glucose tablets to raise low blood sugar, try sweet
tarts, they work just as fast or faster , taste good, and are alot cheaper
to purchase.  If the sweet tarts or glucose tablets don't raise your blood
sugar after a substantial amount eaten your basal rate is probably to high.
Rule of thumb: For a low blood sugar 15 to 20 grams of fast acting
carbohydrates should raise it to a safer level.  It varies from person to
person.  Good luck!!  Better days are just around the corner with the pump.
