Sofset goes straight into the skin about 1/2 inch and is easy to do with a
"sof serter".   Silhouettes go into your skin at a very shallow level are
more comfortable to wear for me.  Although the initial insertion may be
tougher - long, very slender needle, I find if you thump the spot and slip
the needle into the skin at a shallow angle, it really does not hurt as
much as the sof serter.  There should be pictures at Mini Med's home page.

am waiting for approval for a pump and would like to be prepared when the
