Re: [IP] Do you use your bolus wizard?

Like Glenn, I don't count carbs either. I usually do not use package foods
that tell me on the label how many carbs are in a serving. For example, I
make my own bread and estimate how many carbs are in a hand cut slice.
Sometimes I make my own pasta and I estimate how many carbs are in a half
a cup. Starchy vegetables that are easily measured are, of course,
counted. Complex recipes, your guess would be as good as mine; but I check
after 2 or 2 1/2 hours after the meal. When it comes to fats, like pizza,
all bets are off. After the two and half hours of eating then I do an
extended bolus for six to eight hours. Lean proteins are usually
negligible for me.

There are too many variables to depend on the wizard. I use it to do
corrections to my BG if high. Good luck. Liliana
