Re: [IP] Low reservoir/ wasting insulin
I run my reservoir until I get an alarm that I'm on empty so as not to waster
any insulin. There is an alarm that goes off at 20units. At this point I
fill a new one and let it set out to room temperature until I'm actually on
empty. I rarely change the cartridge and site at the same time. I use an
Animas 1250 pump.

Do you guys find yourself seeming to waste insulin by having to leave 20
units
in the old reservoir?
I run so close on insulin because I feel like I'm wasting so much!!
Is there a way not to waste so much, or do we just have to? I only put 100
units in for three days and use about 80 of those units, if nothing weird
happens during those three days.
In fact, I'm down to 20 units in my pump and hope the pharmacy will refill
for me today!
