Yes I agree....they are WAY too expensive! Yes, they give us the machines for
free...because they want you to buy their test strips. That's how they are
making their money. If my insurance company covered more of them for me and they
weren't so expensive I would be able to test my BG more often. Our prescriptions
in this country are so expensive...I really feel sorry for people who can't
afford it or who don't have any health care coverage. I know that I spend about
$500 a month and I have health care coverage...but they don't cover a lot of my
prescriptions...which is another wrenching thought.
