I don't know how you go about loading the insulin into your cartridge, but I
can tell you what I do. I'm very careful to draw more insulin into the
cartridge that I need and then, since I've found it works better for me, I
simply use my ball point pen to tap on the cartridge beginning near the
bottom and working my way to the top.  Then I release insulin back into the
bottle until I see no more bubbles.  Sometimes I will do that a couple of
times to be certain. After than, when I fill the tubing, I look carefully to
be certain that the tube appears clear (as it will if there are no bubbles
at any point) from end to end before attaching it.  That seems to work for
me, as we have not had any problem with bubbles.  Okay, now I am knowing on
every piece of wood around!!!
