I can answer the QS part looking like an insect bite....if you look at the 
 set you will see that MM designed it with an indented ring around the insertion
needle/cannula.  This indented area is suppose to be where that needle guard 
 inserts iinto. Those guards are rarely on anyway so that seems like a waste of
time.  But MM designers did not take into account that this indented ring 
would actually cause the wearer of the set to have a raised welt.  It is that 
 raised welt caused by the indented portion of the set that makes your site area
look like a bull's eye or bug bite.  And YES, Josh has, on several occasions, 
complained about this welt itching after removal of the set.

We are now using the Animas Insets, and anticipating the release of the 
Deltec sets this summer.
