There is no question as to the qualification as a charitable
contribution.  Whether you take the deduction depends on your
personal tax situation.>>>

I was not *questioning* if it qualified, but just because there is a
donation made, does not mean it can be deducted from the total. If there
is not enough total deductions on the Schedule A Form 1040 to exceed the
standard deduction, no charitable deduction qualifies. This includes
out-of-pocket medical and/or pump supplies.
