Re: [IP] Blood in tubing of infusion set & bent cannula

Marcia,
I've been on the pump a whopping 3 months! In that time I have only experienced
one bent cannula. I had done evrything the same upon inserting. No clue why it
bent. The odd thing was that my bgs were only elevated during the day, they were
fine in the evening & overnight. I thought that maybe some stresses were getting
to me so I ran a temp basal for a few hours the next couple of days and that
seemed to take care of it. I only knew it was bent when I changed the set 3 days
later! Now I will hopefully know better.
Good Luck
