My advice (which is worth what you pay for it) is that
you change only one thing at a time...  you stated
that changed both your basals and your site at the
same time and are wondering which could have made your
BG higher than usual.

Change the site back to where you used to have it
(tummy?).  Give it a day or two to see if you're still
running higher.  If so, then you know it's the basal.

If not - then you know it's either your thighs or a
bad infusion set.
