Years ago, a couple of teenagers were play sword fighting at my house and
one them got whacked in the mouth - not hard enough for him to say anything
to me or to his mom. Within the week, his cheek looked like he had a tennis
ball tucked inside. His braces had cut the inside of his mouth and the
infection was rampant. He had the lead role in the a school play at the
time. You could see the swelling from the back of the auditorium.
