Regarding flying commercially with diabetic supplies and/or a pump and a

An elementary school student can turn out a letter with any doctor's name, any
specialty, on letterhead, with a forged signature in about five minutes.  They
can even produce a fake business card of the doctor to go along with the fake

Airport security personnel know this.  So what is the value of a letter?  Nil.
