[IP] When to change from a Ped endo

Not the main question as indicated in the subject line but in the post- when 
the hospital answered honestly (not cost effective to use new test...), that 
seemed to throw you over the line.  If they don't provide the service you 
need, then its time to change but hospitals, like many other not-for profit 
groups including insulin-pumpers, need to control costs so they can continue 
to provide the necessary services to their clients.  Having worked for a 
medical center for 10+ years ( and there are others on this list with even 
higher seniority in healthcare) I'm frustrated at times at the unrealisitic 
expectations people have when they won't understand that nothing anymore 
comes totally free - someone somewhere is paying a price. - Bob
