My dears, I am mostly a lurker, and don't post much.  Further, I have only
been pumping for two months.  But, I feel that I can reply as a very active
Type II diabetic.  I spin, I dance (retired professional dancer) I walk,
(joints prevent my running).  But, if I could run, I would.  My dear, run.
And enjoy the training, and enjoy the marathon.  You know how to take care
of yourself.  Many doctors err on the side of caution.  But, you can do it.
If you really want to do it.  You just need to figure out during your
training, how to set your basal rates.  Go for it.  :-)
