The insulin injection "arm " of the DPT trial did prove not to work, but
that was totally a different approach than the oral study that is currently
being studied.  Where did you get your information about it accelerating in
mice?   I would be interested in reading that article.

What kind of intervention do you want the DPT trial to do that they aren't
already?
Do you really want all monies to go to just curing diabetes?   The answer
that may
evolve from trying to prevent diabetes may also be the answer for the cure.
