I went through the insurance fight also.  It took 3 letters (from doctors
and myself) and 3 appeals but we got it!  Hang in there.  They tried every
excuse in the world and even changed the reason with each appeal.  Get some
info. off the net  how devestating diabetes can be if it's not controlled,
etc. and  how pumps will help.  I even threatened a law suit I  was so mad.
It took 4 months of fighting, but it's worth it!
