>From my understanding you are basically limited to what Medicare chooses to
pay for.  I am also on medicare and the only Disetronic pump I could get was
the H-Tron (and only one, not two) but they do pay for all the supplies
(which I have to call every month and order).  I think it is somewhat the
same way with MiniMed but I'm not sure about that.  Animas does not accept
Medicare payments.  It is a typical government system but I am just thankful
that I am pumping.  Someone recently posted an "800" number for the Medicare
office that handles the administration of pump acquisition.  Maybe they
could help you.
