Stress can do what you're describing.  Definataly see a doctor and discuss 
your symtoms and possible treatments.  Also, get the support of family and 
friends by talking to them about this scary experience, try relaxation 
methods, and do someting nice for yourself - rent a funny movie, read a 
favorite book or magazine,  listen to calming music,  etc. this may help to 
at least relieve some stress while you are also dealing with the anxiety 
issue.  Anxiety attacks can be very scary but you are not alone!  Good luck 
to you and hope you are feeling better very soon!
