Re: [IP] Changing insulin when making site changes


  My son is 9 and on the H-Tron for over a year.  If you read most inserts 
that come with a lot of products they really exaggerate a lot of the things 
someone is 'suppose' to do.  There really is NO REASON to change out the 
cartridge until it is close to being empty.  End of story.  If your CDE 
should want to push this point then ask her to contribute to your costs for 
the insulin because of all of the insulin you are throwing away.  They 
companies that write up this pamphlets don't stop to think about these things 
and relly have no idea what life is about in these areas!
