In our class, the CDE's said to change the battery on the first of every
month, so as not to have any emergencies, but for some reason, I've
found that the batteries last me THREE months. 

I really haven't a clue as to why some people use up batteries quicker
than others -- but the three month time has been VERY consistent for me.
