Krysta,

I'm no expert on the duration that long acting insulin stays in your body
but I know the Lente and Ultra Lente types are considerably longer acting
then say NPH(it last stays around for 12-18hrs I think).  I seem to remeber
seeing something about UL hanging around for 36-48 hrs and L for 24-36 but
don't quote me as I'm not positive those are 100% accurate.  Anyone else
know for sure
