When I first got under control on insulin (never did have any control in
the 5 months on orals!), I was taking 45 units a day. This amount
decreased to about 35 units a day after a while. 

Since being on the pump, I average about 20 - 25 units a day. 

I dunno why, but I figure the less insulin the better -- right???
