[IP] emergency insulin in tubing

Maybe I am missing something here, or perhaps the MM cartridges are
different from the D. With the D, when filling the cartridges there is a
sort of plastic plunger that you pull back on. Then you remove the
plunger before putting the cartridge in the pump. So if you are stuck
somewhere without any backup supplies, how would you pull air into the
cartridge (seems you would need the plunger part...)?
