[IP] Pump Tails

Another story to add to the collection:

I have Japanese Bobtail cats. They have short, cute little pom-pom tails
which are kinked and curled tightly.

Early this morning, Sammy, who had been sleeping in his usual place,
curled up under the covers against my tummy, started meowing loudly.
And I couldn't find my pump.

Turns out, he had gotten his tail totally tangled up in the tubing , the
pump was riding his back -- and there was no way he could free himself,
because of the kinks and curls!

Amazingly enough, he DIDN'T pull out my site -- just waited patiently
for me to untangle him!
