[IP] Starting Pump Support Group

Just wondering if there is anyone here who started a local support group.  
What are the protocols that you used, did you have someone sponsor you, where 
did you meet, etc.?  I am interested in getting something going here but the 
support professionals are kind of wishy washy about it.  Is it better to go 
to a hospital for a meeting place?  Thanks for anyone's help.
