YES, YES, YES!! You definitely need a pump for either of the reasons you
mentioned:  lows at night w/ dawn phenom OR (especially) pregnanacy.  It would
have been better if you could have had the BS under controll before the Pg but
better late than never.  Getting a handle on the BS will make the chances of a
healthy Pg. and a healthy baby much, much better.  The pump is the way to go.
By the way putting a needle in the abdomen is NOT going to hurt the baby.
