Re: [IP] Help - HomeMed trying to take my pump

In addition to the good advice you've already received, you might find out how
much "rent" HomeMed or Minimed has been receiving monthly, where it has gone,
and insist that it be credited to the fee they will want for the pump (if you
are thinking of purchasing it yourself). This pump must have depreciated over
the past year. If they allowed it to be rented for a year, they are selling
you used equipment which should not have the same price tag as a new pump.
Even though you lease a car, you don't pay the same price as when it was new
if you decide to purchase it at the end of the term--your previous payments
are credited to the price. Make them answer some questions for you..and don't
accept less than satisfactory answers.
