I have also noted with some of my pumpers, that adding a small amount of
protein to the breakfst meal slows down the food absorption and smooths out
the BG as compared to a breakfst that contains mostly CHO. You would be
suprised what a difference that low fat peanut butter on toast adds to slow
that down. Of course...YMMV...also applies here.
