That is so cruel...I once had an "new" employee who upon finding out I was
diabetic, looked at me and said "you don't look like one.  you have all you
feet and fingers and stuff"!!!  Needless to say, she did not last too long. 
Where to people get these ideas?

I caught the tail end of a news report in Houston on a woman who had been
fired or something because of diabetes. Someone sent her a box labeled
"Diabetic Barbie" and she is sueing. The barbie had been mangled with problems
related to Diabetes. I only caught a glimpse of this but one thing was that
the leg had been cut off at the knee.

Did anyone see that report and know what it is about?
