RE: [IP] Re:
Minimed gave me a loaner pump, after my pump quit. But I was a MM user. I
used their loaner for 4-5 months last year before they finally gave me a new
pump. It was an issue where they asked me to send them my broken pump but
they didn't tell me they would destroy it. I called and asked for my pump
back to trade it in with Animas. MM told me my old pump was destroyed, so I
demanded it be returned or that they send me one I can use for trade in. It
ended up they sent me a new pump less warranty. Anyway try MM, Animas also
has some real good programs for those without insurance.

Sharon, how about your CDE, I know our CDE has demo pumps for teaching
purposes. If your pump is out of warranty and out of commission, wouldn't
the insurance company get you a new one? Sometimes it is a lengthy process,
so it is good that you have the long acting insulin to treat yourself in the
interim. Sharon B
