RE: [IP] numb fingers shoulder pain
I fell and had severe pain when moving my shoulder. The MRI showed the
rotator cuff was torn through. Did you have an MRI? The surgery is
painful, but I've not had any problems with my shoulder since it was done.
You should go to an orthopedic doc who specializes in shoulders. I am so
glad I had the surgery. It wasn't related to my diabetes; well, maybe the
fact that I injured it at all may have been, but once it was torn it had no
relation to the diabetes. It doesn't sound to me like you have tendonitis;
you need to see someone who knows about shoulders.

Why did you have rotator cuff surgery? I ask because several years ago I
passed out at work (low BG) I was alone at 1am working in a machine shop.
When
I fell I hit a large metal stand with my shoulder. Ever since I have had
pretty bad pain when trying to throw a baseball with my daughter. Skipping
rocks on the water, sometimes just stretching. My doc recently told me I may
have tendinitis not only in the one shoulder but both. She said my fall
probably aggravated an already existing condition. Probably Diabetes related
was her diagnosis. Is this common amongst us? It occasionally causes me to
reel in pain for the simplest movement. Most of the time I just deal with
the
minor discomfort though.
