I take the following supplements:
Alpha Lipoic acid  300mg. 1x/day with food
Carnosine- 1000mg./day with food. divide into am and pm dose.
Magnesium- 200mg. 1x/day with food.
Thidmide- 150mg. am and pm.
milk thistle- 240mg. twice a day on empty stomach.
A very special pharmacist I know says the research shows these help with  
glyacation.  Prevents the accumulation of sugars on the blood  vessels.
