However, if you have had medical changes that warrant the need for a new
pump and the pump is out of warranty or very close, Medicare has upgraded
people's pumps.

advancements in technology... they are not going to
 replace the pump warranty or not. As Medicare then becomes the responsible
party for the warranty replacement.
