[IP] Coffee & BS

Was reading in a book named "Outsmart Diabetes" about having a cup of Java.
This section was written by a PhD by the name of Gary Hunter.

The amount of caffeine in a cup is about 135 mg in an 8 oz. cup of brewed
and may be enough to supposedly raise your metabolism for 2 hours. Drinking it
before a workout may give you an extra kick. Apparently, it also states that
caffeine may help free stored fat, so your body can burn it for energy as you
exercise. Please note that anyone with high blood pressure should avoid caffeine
before exercise at least if not all the time.*g*

Was just wondering if other diabetics who drink coffee would like to voice
their opinions as to whether they thought that coffee raised their metabolism or
helped them to lose wt. at all.
