It is my understanding that the anti-DM pills do *nothing* for a Type 1
DMer. Their purpose mainly is for the cells to accept the insulin rather
than to resist it. A Type 1 would be wasting their $$ and introducing a
medication to their bodies that may eventually cause other damage.
