   You are so right.... back in the 80's  the ADA had a Ad program done up
showing what could happen to you if you didn't take care of yourself.  ....
well you never got to see it. It was pulled before it was shown, because it
was truthful talked about going blind, losting limbs...heart problems... a
host of other problems..... So many member said  NONONONO it is TO HARD
LINE....we need to talk about hope....not the true.... well the funding for
any diabete research and programs
since when has gone down  ...again other diseases.... WHY... and the number
of new diabetic has gone up.... maybe because the pubic thinks well if you
take insulin...... donot eat THAT you will be ok.   Sorry to tell you but DM
does KILL.... does
bad things to you...... I HATE IT>>>>> EVERYDAY I HOPE AND PRAY FOR A
CURE.... but until there is I will use my pump and NO ONE WILL TAKE IT UNTIL
