[IP] can someone help ???

hi kelly,

i too have trouble resisting the lure of a correction bolus at 2 hours after
a meal. i take humalog and was told that it acts so quickly that you should
never be above the 140 range. when i get up to around 180 and above, i start
to feel terrible. my endo says i have to be more patient but it's hard to sit
there and think about the damage you are doing to your body at 200 or 300
waiting for the stupid insulin to start working. one thing that helps a lot
is to get some vigorous exercise just after taking a correction bolus. the
exercise seems to stimulate the absorption process and get the medicine
working more quickly.

best o' luck.................
