I echo what Jan has said in this post. I got my current nephrologist when I
had my by-pass surgery seven years ago. My kidneys had failed. He is an
aggressive type docot in helping you. A year ago I tought that I woas going
on dialisys as my kidney function was near 10% but, we have dodged the
buttle again. I am about 15-20% now. In my opion there are two doctors that
you need when you have diabetes complications. That is a endo and a kidney
doctor.
