One of the main ingredients in Diet MD is concentrated orange juice. I'm 
sure this is the cause for the  jump in blood sugar, not the caffeine. 
Pepsi does sell caffeine free diet mountain dew, Diet pepsi also has 
caffeine 24mg compare to 37mg with the MD.
